Liebe Deutschklassen:

Es war doch ein sehr erfolgreiches Jahr!  Wir freuen uns, Herr Meyer, unseren Referendar (Student Teacher)  noch bis Ende des Herbstsemesters dabei zu haben.  Ich kann für uns alle sprechen, wenn ich sage, daß Herr Meyer ein sehr guter Lehrer ist.  Ich bin ja sehr erstaunt wie viel Deutsch ihr gelernt habt!

Next Deutschklub Meeting

Thank you to all German Club members who attended the Deutschklub meeting today at lunch. For those of you who missed it, we talked about how it is that the Germans celebrate their holiday season, in addition to beginning the German Club T-shirt ordering process.

The next Deutschklub meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 19th (the last wednesday before winter vacation). That wednesday will be the last day to pay for your German Club T-shirt. At the next meeting we will also be beginning our holiday celebrations in German style! Make sure to be there for winter treats, other food drink and merryment! Stay tuned to this Blog as there will soon be updates with screenshots of the 3 German Club T-shirt types and German Holiday recipes! Frohe Festtage! Auf Wiedersehen!

German 1 Extended Reading Homework

The extended reading homework will be due tomorrow the 7th of December. Remember we are looking to have you interpret the text, not translate word-for-word. We want you to write out how you would say it in English as a basis of comparison for the two languages.

There will be a quiz on chapter G-5-5 this friday. Make sure you know all of the 9 words associated with “das Badezimmer”, and know how to form the plural forms of nouns as well.
